Blade Brothers Knives is a Ukrainian knife brand founded by Oleksandr Vorobey, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, President of the Knife Fighting Federation of Ukraine and Founder of the Blade Brothers knife fighting club. 

The history of the brand begins in 2007 with the foundation of the Blade Brothers Knife Fighting Club. During training and creating his own unique knife fighting techniques, Oleksandr Vorobey designed the author's models of knives based on the experience of training and practical use of the knife. 

From the very beginning, he set out to create the best self defense knives that would achieve the full potential of Blade Brothers Knife Fighting technique featuring its powerful chopping strikes.

During the tests and in practice, the knives proved to be highly effective and Blade Brothers knives began to gain popularity throughout Ukraine.

From the very beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Oleksandr Vorobey volunteered to join the fight against invading Russian troops. He participated in military combat operations and was badly wounded in July 2014. After recovery, Oleksandr Vorobey founded a knife manufacturing company. Since then he has developed new models of military combat knives based on his experience.

In 2017, the largest Ukrainian knife fighting clubs united in the Federation of Knife Fighting of Ukraine, headed by Oleksandr Vorobey. Since then, several instructor courses have been held annually, and new club branches have been opened in most regions of Ukraine. Constant work was carried out to train the personnel of the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the Security Service of Ukraine.

Since 2019, the Ukrainian Knife Fighting Federation under the leadership of Oleksandr Vorobey has been promoting the concept of Ukrainian knife fighting abroad, attracting significant attention from athletes and fighters from all over the world. 

In the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Oleksandr Vorobey defended Kharkiv as part of the volunteer platoon ‘Knifefighters’, made up of Blade Brothers Knife Fighting Club athletes and combat veterans. Most instructors of the Ukrainian Knife Fighting Federation also joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

I have been practicing knife fghting since 2007, during which time I have developed up to date techniques based on the latest advances in sports science and modern warfare. My techniques have been tested in real-world conficts, both on the street and in combat. Unlike the vast majority of knife makers in the world, I learned how to fght with knives before I began making them. My knives are designed for self-defense, whether in times of peace or war. 

Over the past nine years, I have used my knives in a variety of conficts — from street fghts to military battles, from sports competitions to tactical operations. Alongside me in these conficts have been individuals whom I have personally trained, as well as those who have trained with other close combat instructors. The knives have been put through their paces and have proven their effectiveness time and time again. Currently, I carry my knife alongside thousands of heroic Ukrainian defenders as we face the test of war.
