Raytheon expects to deliver the first AN/SPY-6(V)3 Fixed Phase Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (EASR) during the second quarter of 2022, Scott Spence, the company’s Naval Radar Program Area Director, said jens.
The first radar of the variant contracted for Ford-class aircraft carriers and Constellation-class guided-missile frigates (FFG), is scheduled to be delivered to the carrier.

“What’s that integration going to look like? How much will it change?” Spence asked, taking into account Raytheon should be able to accommodate any related changes.
He said the reason he remains confident is due to his experience in handling radar suits and changes to the flagship Ford-class ship, USS.
